There is a little section of Melrose Ave that always has me entranced. A green oasis in a land of concrete, small white boutiques with winding paths and ivy growing up the side. There are discrete signs in an orderly row sharing knowledge of the hidden treasures inside for those keen enough to discover: Temperley (the only location on this side of the Atlantic), Chloé, Oscar De La Renta, Pratesi, Bottega Veneta, Alexander McQueen..the names go on and on.
While this definitely takes the cake, and I would like to thank my father for waiting patiently while I ambled through the path, there are also some other wonderful places in Melrose. Below is one that is a shopping landmark in LA (Fred Segal) and the shocking & wonderful pink Paul Smith store.
Update: I have all these posts planned well in advance so it was a wonderful coincidence that yesterday my favourite blogger, Cupcakes & Cashmere, did an outfit post set in Melrose Ave’s Wonderland oasis that I was featuring today. Great minds think alike 🙂 Check it out here!
Wishing you the best of everything,
