April signals a move towards a new stage of life for so many: graduations, new jobs, facing the workplace or a new step up the ladder. I thought this article gave a great overview of how to dress for these new opportunities.
I’ve often shared my thoughts on the importance of clothing and overall grooming – someone once told me they were thinking of wearing nail polish but thought people wouldn’t take them seriously for a work-related event. I’ve been taught that all the little things are what shows someone that you respect them and are taking them seriously – and that commands respect back to you.
What are your thoughts? Do you follow the old sayings (“dress for success”, “the clothes make the man”, “dress for the job you want, not the job you have”)? or do you take a different approach?
Wishing you the best of everything,
