A touch of gold

I am not a DIY-er. There is no part of that statement that could be doubted. However, I have been trying to get better at the odd arts & craft project in order to try to get my living space in line with the vision in my head. One part of that was trying to find a way to incorporate one of my musts for my room (a bulletin board) in a way that would not remind me of a dorm room. I love to put up small pieces of inspiration and look at it, continuously changing the images and words as my mood, goals, and desires change.

Therefore, inspired by some projects on pinterest, I went to the dollar store, bought some paint, and painted the bulletin board white with a gold border. It now fits perfectly with the vision I have in my room and doesn’t make me feel like I’m still in undergrad.

Wishing you the best of everything,
